Humm

Honestly, I haven't had a lot to write about, besides for the fact that I have been SUPER down.
I am SO over this underway and deployment, and deployment hasen't even started.
I just want my husband to myself! Our son needs his daddy =/
So, dear underway JUST END ALREADY!
I'm tired of waking up alone. I'm tired of going to bed alone. I'm tired of eating alone.
I'M JUST SICK OF DOING EVERYTHING ALONE! =(
Gosh, I feel like a baby.
Found this quote, and it explains exactly how I'm feeing today...
Exactly. I'm missing everyhing about him.
Hell, today I've been missing him so much I sprayed his colougne on myself and I'm wearing some one his deodorant
(he buys a stick just for me, just for this reason! lol)
I started feeding our little many baby food. HE LOVES IT! =)
It's so sad for me though, my babyboy is growing up, I kinda wish he'd stop!
When daddy is home for good, then he can start growing again.
He's missing everything and it breaks my heart! =/
Tonight is just going to spent relaxing with little man, then once he goes to bed. It's Army Wives time!

Have to share my excitment!

So, my husband has been SUPER busy this underway!
So he hasen't had much time to email, which has made me SUPER down.
But last night at about 12:30am, I got an email <3 And enclosed was a picture
Now, that oh so handsome sailor in the middle, is my amazingly gorgeous husband <3
Now, I had already seen this picture on the ship's facebook. They love to take pictures for the family back home to see.
Now, I knew that man was my husband, but I didn't wanna get to excited and then feel like a complete idiot when it wasen't!
But sure enough it is =)
It brighted up my day real quick. I've been missing him oh so badly these past couple days.
I'm not sure if it's the icky rain that's making me so down or what!

You know your a military spouse when...

Okay, Haven't been around latley, Been keeping busy with my little man and friends =)
But here's a pretty awesome thing I found =)

You know you're a Military Spouse When.....

+ You don't mind a phone call waking you up at 4 a.m.
+You have a mini heart attack when you realize you forgot to take your phone in the bathroom with you :)
+ You tell people that ask that he's 'only' been gone a month.
+ The smallest contact (short email or 2 minute phone call) from your man makes your entire week!
+ You cry over an email that says nothing more than hey- I love you and I miss you.
+ Those recruitment commercials on TV make you cry because you are so proud!
+ You're sitting at home and you realize that you haven't talked to your boyfriend/hubby (on the phone) in over a month.
+ You become heartbroken just knowing that your boyfriend/hubby tried to call but wasn't able to get through.
+ You stop shaving above the knees.
+ A 30 second phone call after no calls from him for weeks leaves you full of joy and happiness.
+ "No news is good news" becomes your motto.
+ You could wait forever for your loved one to return home into your arms.
+ You feel yourself growing more and more in love with your military man even while he's so far away.
+ You hold off on seeing certain movies so you can see them with your military man when he comes home.
+ YOU WANT TO ROLL YOUR EYES WHEN YOU HEAR SOMEONE SAY, "I haven't seen my boyfriend/girlfriend or hubby/wife in a week!".
+ You can go from being happy, to sad, to lonely, to angry, to proud, and back to happy in a matter of less than an hour.
+ You sleep with the phone right next to you, just in case.
+ The people at your work ask about your boyfriend/hubby every day to see if you've heard from him.
+ The sight of any other man in a uniform makes you miss your boyfriend/hubby MORE than it makes you drool.
+ You feel lucky for each second granted to the two of you.
+ Phone kisses are just as good as the real ones if not better.
+ You realize you can forgive your boyfriend/hubby for not calling you for a few weeks due to the fact he really had to work.
+ Your cell phone shows 87 screens full of the number 2 for "repeat message" after you hear he left you a voice mail because you missed his first and only call so far!
+ Going 3-6 months without seeing your man seems like a drop in the bucket compared to what you have been through before.
+ You haven't heard from them in awhile and you find yourself reading the old letters you have received. It's just something comforting to feel close to him in a way.
+ You don't bat an eyelash when he say's "Uh, Honey they changed when I'm supposed to return home, yet again (for the 18th millionth time)".
+ Everytime you see him it feel's like it's for the first time all over again...EVERYTIME.

Being MIA

I've been down for the count latley, not even a week after my husband left I ended up with the flu.
It NEVER fails that it ALWAYS happens, everytime he leaves. So I'm stuck with a 5 month old on my own, oh what a life of a Navy Wife! Oh, and to top it off he's come down with something as well. Luckily, his is just conjestion and it's began breaking up. And I'm started getting over my flu. Yay!
It's mothers day, and I really wish my husband was home. I did get 3 red roses yesturday, and when I asked him why there are 3, he said because we have 3 in our family.
I thought about making a joke to him about "so to get a dozen, should we plan for 9 more kids"
That would've been a nice laugh for him.
I've been really down latley, because of deployment sneaking up really soon.
I'm not ready for him to leave for months on end. Now a lot of people would ask
"if you're not prepared why marry military"
Now, that's a dumb question. Your NEVER ready for them to leave, whether it's for a day, a week, a month, or a year. And what I'm about to say is going to puzzle some people, I didn't marry a Sailor, I married a man who happens to be a Sailor! It's true, I fell in love with my husband, NOT his uniform (I mean don't get me wrong, my husband looks damn sexy in his uniform though!)
I'll be by his side, long after the Navy is out of our lives!

..........................

He's gone. :(
You'd think I'd get used to the coming and going, but I don't. And whoever said "this gets easier"
They lied to me. =/ Not nice. Not nice AT ALL!
My friend and I went to base today, expecting the ship to already be gone, just to get there as it was JUST pulling out, my heart literally shattered into a million pieces watching that big ugly aircraft carrier take my best friend, my soulmate, the love of my life away,
Dear USS John C. Stennis ;; I HATE YOU!!!!!
gosh. If I'm this bad ALREADY....
I'D HATE TO SEE WHAT I'M GOING TO BE LIKE THROUGH DEPLOYMENT!
Which, by the way is REALLY getting close, as the days keeps passing..it keeps peaking it's ugly head in a little more....evvverryyday! I HATE IT!!!!
But I know I have to stay strong for our son, and most importantly, my Sailor <3
I found a quote today, that kind of reminded me of how i've been feeling ;;
"you never know how strong you are, until being strong is the only choice you have"
It made me really think about how strong you really have to be to love a Sailor.
I've never known just how proud you could be of one person until my husband and I got married, he has done SO much for this country, that I just swell up with pride thinking about it.
I miss him. Oh how, I miss him so much.
I swear I'm such a baby sometimes, I have my breakdowns in private.
And bedtime is ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS the worst :( That's why it's currently like 12:51 and I'm still wide awake.....

Been MIA

Hi ya!
Just wanted to pop in and give a quick little update, my husband did yet another underway (last one was only 2 weeks though!) yahhooo! And he's home <3 Buuttttt, he's gearing up YET AGAIN, for our very LAST underway, before the "big business trip"
Now, my husband and I call it a buisness trip, because it sounds a lot less scary then deployment, that's just us though.
Right now, It's 1 am. My husband is on duty, and my son is sound asleep. Why I can't sleep, I have no idea.
Just have a lot on my mind, i suppose.

Well..

We're back underway...again. This is one of the final underways, then hello you stupid ugly deployment.
Oh, how your not even here yet and I hate you so.
If only I were able to write a letter to the Navy it would start out exactly like this..
"Dear United States Navy, I HATE you!" haha.
Luckily, this underway is not too long. You know I had an AWESOME diet going while my husband was home, just for it to get shot to hell when he leaves...hummpph.
It's 11:30 and I am wide awake. My little man is asleep and I can't sleep for crap.
:(
My husband re-enlisted for another 3 years. I'm so proud of him. Yet, crushed at the same time. :( He is my hero, my soulmate and my best friend. And I support him 115000%
I guess I'm just being selfish :(
